U4GM ARC Raiders Tips for Bastion Cells and Rising Tide

Anyone chasing upgrades in ARC Raiders hits the same wall sooner or later: Bastion Cells. They're one of those materials you never seem to have enough of, right when you need them most. If you've been stocking up on ARC Raiders Items and still feel short on key components, Bastion farming is probably the bit slowing you down. The trick isn't just killing a Bastion and sprinting off. You've got to slow down and search it properly. Most of the good stuff tends to sit in the central body and around the core housing, so that should be your first stop. On a clean run, seven cells from one machine is possible. Not guaranteed, though. If the area's quiet, check the legs and any torn-off armour panels too, because players leave scraps behind all the time.

How to Farm Bastion Cells Without Throwing the Run

The actual fight is only half the problem. The bigger issue is the noise. Once a Bastion starts firing, everybody nearby knows exactly what's happening, and that turns your farm into a public event. A lot of players make the mistake of committing too hard, then trying to loot while they're still exposed. Bad idea. If you want more consistent results, take your time and watch the area first. Very often, the safer play is letting another squad start the engagement, then moving in after the Bastion drops or when both sides are weak. It's not glamorous, but it works. In this game, surviving with the loot matters more than pretending you won some fair fight.

Getting Into the Foreman's Apartment

Celeste's A Rising Tide quest sends you across a couple of spots that can be easy to miss if you're rushing. First, head to the Buried City and work your way south of Piazza Roma toward the residential section. You're looking for the foreman's apartment, and yeah, it's boarded up enough to make you think you've got the wrong building. You haven't. Don't waste time on the front entrance. The way in is through the zipline route linking the nearby structures. Once you ride across, you'll land close to the apartment interior. From there, find the terminal in the living space and download the logbook data. That's the important part, so don't leave before it registers.

The Dam Battlefield Section

After that, the quest shifts over to the Dam. This part has a different feel entirely. Less open, more tense. You'll need to access a hidden underground area by cable car, and when you arrive, the place is dark and partially flooded. If you're splashing through knee-high water, you're where you need to be. The power has to come back on before you can finish the objective, so start looking for a fuel cell nearby. Most of the time, one is sitting around the entry area or in the first room past the zipline. Grab it, carry it upstairs, and slot it into the power box. Once the lights come up, the room with the tablet becomes easy to spot, and that's the item you need to photograph for the quest.

Why This Quest Is Less Risky Than It Looks

What makes A Rising Tide a bit more forgiving is that you don't have to extract for the progress to count. That takes a lot of pressure off, especially if you're low on meds, ammo, or patience. Snap the photo, make sure the objective ticks over, and you're good. If you get out, great. If not, the mission still moves forward, which is rare enough to feel like a gift. It also means you can plan your run around other priorities, whether that's looting on the way out or keeping room in your bag for things like Station Material Bundles that help smooth out the upgrade grind.
