Just bought a 2019 A5 from a private seller over in Al Quoz a couple weeks ago and honestly the car drives like a dream except for this one thing that's starting to bug me more and more. When I'm coasting to a gentle stop at the lights near the Mall of the Emirates exit there's this faint but noticeable squeak coming from the front left wheel area and it completely disappears if I press the pedal a bit harder. The previous owner said the pads were done at some random garage about 20k km ago but I have no invoice to prove it and I'm a bit paranoid because I don't want to be the guy who ruins the rotors on a German car here just because I ignored a noise. I've been digging around online trying to figure out if these cars just have noisy ceramics or if I'm actually metal on metal and I stumbled across a page talking about Audi professional brake pad service in Dubai which got me thinking maybe there's a huge difference between a quick pad slap and a proper job with sensor integration and lubricant points done right. I know brake dust is a nightmare here anyway so I'm not expecting silence but does anyone else with a B9 platform find the OEM setup to be a bit chatty or should I just bite the bullet and get the front end inspected properly before this heat really kicks in and makes everything worse?
